Job Title: Hemodialysis RN

SHIFTS: M-W-F  5 am to 6pm may include Holiday coverage if the unit is operating

Must have 6 months of Hemodialysis experience.

Essential Duties:

Performs daily dialysis care and supervision for in-center, acute, and peritoneal dialysis.

Responsible for pre-assessment, ongoing assessment and post-assessment of the dialysis client and retails overall accountability and responsibility for patient's care.

Demonstrates advanced technical skills to set parameters and monitor readings with dialysis machinery.

Accesses fistula or shunt with care to avoid clot formation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of nursing diploma or Associates degree in nursing; BSN or higher preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 

Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. 

Must maintain current CPR certification. 

Must maintain current ACLS certification

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals.
