RN to work with patients Pre-op and Post-op Phase II/Procedures in Day Surgery Unit.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
- Plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for clients utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other clinical personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.
- Supports the philosophy and goals of the individual clinical area.
- Supports the shared governance vision and nursing obligations of membership which guide the practice of all nurses at Valley View Hospital.
Requirements:
- Epic Experice. We are going to be switching EMR's from Meditech to Epic during this Assignment.
- Must be available to work evening/weekend call rotations.
- Three years RN experience Day Surgery/Procedure/IV Infusion - not Chemo.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- Colorado Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years nursing (RN) experience. PACU/CCU experience.
- BLS, ACLS and PALS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
- Flu Vaccine required - no exemptions
