NM - GI Physician (Job ID OOJ - 7849)

About: Primarily procedures, no routine rounding but occasionally may have to round with APPs if needed - about 8 to 10 procedures per day - Majority Inpatient scopes at Main Hospital - May have occasional consults to see directly if patients stable to come down to lab and service is heavy - Esophageal food bolus impactions who are direct to lab

EXP: ERCP and EUS not required but preferred

SCHEDULE: M-F, 9 hours/day on-site; 8am-5pm at Pres Main - no call, no weekends, no holidays – paid lunches/breaks

Certs: BLS and ACLS Required – Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be certified within 5 years of completing training)

EMR: EPIC

Procedures: Adult Gastroenterology, Adult Hepatology, Inpatient, Upper GI endoscopy, Upper GI endoscopy with Foreign Body Removal,Upper GI endoscopy with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery,Upper GI endoscopy with Banding of Varices,Esophageal Dilation,Lower GI Endoscopy,Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Colonoscopy - with Excision of Polyp
