Job Description

Assess, plan and implement nursing care of residents under supervision of RN. Responsible for continuity of care by providing direct care, passing medications, as well as supervising CNAs and support staff. Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as the need arises.

Qualifications & Skills

Current California LVN license required with long-term care experience and operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records preferred. Must pass nursing medical test and have current BLS certification. Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written. Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully and respectfully with patients, staff, general public and governmental agency reps. Basic computer skills required.
