Job Description

• Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.

• Monitor, record, and report patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.

• Perform wound care, catheter care, and basic medical procedures within scope of practice.

• Collect specimens for laboratory testing and assist with diagnostic procedures.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement individualized care plans.

• Provide patient and family education regarding care plans, medications, and health management.

• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and facility policies.

• Respond promptly to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.

• Support RNs and physicians with clinical procedures and patient care coordination.
