Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) – Job Description

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

• Measure and record vital signs, height, and weight

• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff

• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning

• Support patients’ comfort, safety, and emotional well-being

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transport as needed

• Provide compassionate care to patients across all age groups
