Job Summary:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations and ensuring high-quality patient care. The DON leads nursing staff, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborates with facility leadership to maintain clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily nursing operations and staffing

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations

• Develop, implement, and enforce nursing policies and procedures

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff

• Coordinate patient care and improve clinical outcomes

• Manage nursing schedules, budgets, and resources

• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

• Act as liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administration
