Position: Surgical Technologist
Location: Edwards Surgery Center, Edwards, CO
Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4x10 schedule

Job Summary:
Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile field and providing instruments as needed. Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and support safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment.

• Assist surgical team with instruments and supplies.

• Monitor sterile field and notify team of any contamination.

• Participate in patient transports, room prep, and turnovers.

• Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures, tools, and AORN standards.

• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization.

• Communicate effectively with the surgical team during Time Out, briefings, and debriefings.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain HIPAA compliance.
