Job Title: Central Service Technician

Job Summary:
The Central Service Technician is responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, processing, and sterilizing medical instruments and supplies. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of sterilization equipment while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and supporting the organization’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, and maintain autoclaves and other sterilization equipment.

• Process, clean, and sterilize instruments and supplies according to manufacturer instructions and aseptic techniques.

• Assemble, package, and prepare trays and supplies for sterilization.

• Receive, deliver, and restock surgical supplies; manage inventory and place orders as needed.

• Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation.

• Assist with training new employees and follow all safety, privacy, and compliance policies.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the department.
