Job Summary
A Contract position (Day shift) is currently open for a qualified Histotechnologist (Histology Tech) in Cleveland, OH. Essential responsibilities include: process, embed, section, and mount tissue biopsies and surgical specimens onto glass slides, perform routine H&E staining, special chemical stains, and immunohistochemical (IHC) assays, and maintain laboratory microtomes, tissue processors, and stainers with rigorous quality controls, as well as coordinating effectively with interdisciplinary medical staff. Requirements include active professional licensure, applicable healthcare experience, and adherence to patient privacy and safety standards.
