Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS / CLS) for a Contract position (Day (3x12) shift) located in Lincoln, ME. The selected candidate will perform complex clinical laboratory diagnostic testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking to assist medical diagnoses. Daily clinical duties include: analyze human blood, body fluids, and tissue specimens using automated and manual lab methods, perform quality control checks, instrument calibrations, and troubleshooting on laboratory analyzers, and verify and report laboratory results accurately, alerting physicians promptly to critical test values. Qualified applicants must hold appropriate professional certification/licensure and adhere to established healthcare protocols.
