Mammography Technologist

We are currently hiring a qualified Mammography Technologist for an immediate Permanent opening (Day shift) in Wrangell, AK. In this position, the professional will perform screening and diagnostic mammographic examinations, enforcing strict breast imaging quality and patient comfort standards. Primary responsibilities include: position patients carefully and compress breast tissue gently to obtain high-quality diagnostic mammograms, adhere strictly to MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) regulations and quality assurance checks, and explain procedures with empathy to relieve patient apprehension and answer examination questions. Candidates must possess valid credentials/licensure, relevant clinical background, and a strong commitment to quality patient care.
