Job Summary
A Permanent position (Day shift) is currently open for a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Sitka, AK. Essential responsibilities include: guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and gait practice, utilize therapeutic modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation safely, and track and document patient performance, progress, and response to each therapy session, as well as coordinating effectively with interdisciplinary medical staff. Requirements include active professional licensure, applicable healthcare experience, and adherence to patient privacy and safety standards.
