Key Responsibilities

• Standard of Nursing Practice Oversight
• Oversees nursing practices to ensure they are executed in accordance with Franciscan Alliance's nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations. Evaluates team members nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.

• Quality of Care Oversight
• Oversees all service and quality aspects of patient care, including patient safety, medication safety, environment of care issues, patient experience/satisfaction and overall nursing bundle.

• Directs department functions with appropriate staffing in place to meet the needs of the patients served.

• Addresses patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
