The facility Available Shifts: - Nights (Rotating Weekends) the facility is a 267-bed hospital. We are a top-performing quality hospital. We have over 300 of the most respected and qualified physicians in the area. We offer an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and a Cancer Care Center. Our services include open-heart surgery and a wide range of specialties. We give advanced care to critically ill patients. We offer emergency services at our main emergency room (ER). We are seeking a dynamic ICU RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner What will you will do in this role:
- Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
- Provide high focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) acute care ER, ICU or CVICU experience. *Would consider PCU/IMCU experience but must have 2 years of exp to qualify Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- BSN is preferred
- CCRN preferred What qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Registered Nurse Associate Degree
