RN IMCU Nights

As a Registered Nurse on the Intermediate Care/Telemetry Unit, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring continuous monitoring and an increased level of clinical support. You will assess patients, recognize changes in condition, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate patient responses to care.
The IMCU RN is responsible for maintaining patient safety, recognizing clinical deterioration, communicating changes in condition to the appropriate members of the care team, and coordinating care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. The RN will practice within the Texas Nursing Practice Act and the facility & White policies and procedures.

Our patient population includes adult cardiac, stroke, and multi-organ dysfunction patients. The unit provides an intermediate level of care between medical-surgical and intensive care, requiring RNs to recognize changes in patient condition, provide continuous monitoring, and respond promptly to changes in acuity.
RNs on the IMCU collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, patient care technicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, comprehensive care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Grad of an Accredited Program
- Specialized field of study should be nursing.
- RN license.
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
