Samaritan Gastroenterology serves Linn, Benton, Lincoln, and parts of Marion and neighboring counties. Our team of physicians, physician associates, nurses, and support staff work together to provide full-spectrum care of our patients’ digestive health.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule procedures/surgeries per physician orders.
Answer incoming calls from patients regarding preparation instructions for upcoming procedures.
Provide clear, accurate, and compassionate guidance while addressing patient questions and concerns.
Ensure patients understand required preparation steps to support a positive care experience.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
NOTE: Previous Surgery/Procedure Scheduling experience is required. Preference given to those that have EPIC experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience and/or training with computer applications required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience and/or training in a position of similar responsibility and complexity required.
Experience and/or training with medical/insurance terminology preferred.
