Job Summary
We are currently hiring a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care Specialist for an immediate Contract opening (Day (5x8) shift) in Simi Valley, CA. In this position, the professional will assess, treat, and manage complex acute and chronic wounds, pressure injuries, and ostomies across clinical care settings. Primary responsibilities include: perform detailed wound evaluations, measurements, staging, and documentation of tissue healing, apply advanced wound dressings, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), and compression wraps, and educate clinical staff, patients, and caregivers on skin integrity maintenance and prevention protocols. Candidates must possess valid credentials/licensure, relevant clinical background, and a strong commitment to quality patient care.
