Job Summary
A Contract position (Day (3x12) shift) is currently open for a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) in Dansville, NY. Essential responsibilities include: prepare and organize operating rooms, verifying surgical counts, instruments, and sterile supplies, monitor sterile fields and maintain aseptic technique throughout surgical interventions, and advocate for patient safety during preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate post-op phases, as well as coordinating effectively with interdisciplinary medical staff. Requirements include active professional licensure, applicable healthcare experience, and adherence to patient privacy and safety standards.
