Herrin Hospital Radiology

Weekend Midnights: Friday- Sunday 1900-0730

No call required. Every weekend required.

No OR or Fluoro. Will be working by themselves in x-ray.

Role Specific Responsibilities

• Performs MRI
• Utilizes PACS system correctly
• Assists in clerical and office duties to maintain department efficiency
• Checks MRI schedule with Radiologist to verify scan protocol
• Maintains IV/Contrast competency

Education

• Associate’s degree in Radiology or Certification

Licenses and Certification

• ARRT Certification in the area of Radiology, MRI
• IEMA Licensure
• CPR

Experience and Skills

• Technical Experience: 1 year preferred

• Memorial Hospital of Carbondale Medical requires BLS and NIHSS
• Memorial Hospital of Carbondale PCU requires NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS
• Memorial Hospital of Carbondale Step Down ICU requires NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS
• Memorial Hospital of Carbondale ICU requires BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and prefers CSU-ALS
•  St. Joseph Memorial Hospital emergency department requires BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• St. Joseph Memorial Hospital Med/Surg requires BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
