This is approximately 6-8 week contract assignment.
Primarily remote, travel only when necessary.
The HR Business Partner primarily oversees InnovAge employee relations functions including but not limited to the following areas: manager/supervisor coaching, performance management and corrective action support, annual performance evaluation process, employee relations, separations of employment, reorganizations/restructuring, integration of acquired entities, and compliance with company policies and employment law.
This is a work-from-home position, which may require occassional travel as needs dictate.
- Assist in supporting the core business units of InnovAge.
- In consultation with other HR Business Partners, develop and revise EEO policies and procedures to incorporate all EEO and employee related laws into business operations.
- Participate in management decisions with EEO ramifications decisions relating to budget, discipline, terminations, job eliminations, consolidations, layoffs, and other matters directly affecting employees.
- Audit and analyze data and make recommendations to management to further compliance with EEO laws, policies and procedures.
- Assist senior management in conducting workforce analysis to determine staffing forecasts, redeployment, and/or reassignment of employees.
- Act as liaison between the corporate office and field personnel in fact finding and responding to employee claims and charges of discrimination, violations of law and violations of company policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities and resolve discrepancies.
- Provides consultation to supervisors/managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs including coaching, c corrective action, termination and performance management.
- Assist in any joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and managed service agreement’s as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED
- 4+ yrs HR management experience including all aspects of employment law, employee development and employee relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Requires state issued driver’s license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.
PREFERRED
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment with multiple locations, preferred.
- Experience with HRIS programs (ADP is desired)
